Most finishing problems do not start at the finishing stage. They start at the shell, when the electrical and plumbing routes are set out without an interior design.
The five most common mistakes
- Setting out the electrics before the furniture layout is designed
- Starting the finishes before the plumbing has been pressure-tested
- Choosing materials without an approved sample
- Skipping the waterproofing in the bathrooms and on the roof
- Agreeing to “super lux” with no written specification
The right order for finishing
